The Couture Process
Initial Consultation
You will meet with our specialized artist for a one-on-one personalized consultation, available by appointment at our studio in Portland, Oregon. During the consultation, we will discuss the occasion, your vision for the perfect look, and any details needed to bring your dream garment to life. *For clients unable to visit in person, we offer a seamless remote process—please see Client Inquiries for more details.
Design & Planning
After your initial consultation, sketches will be created for you and fabric swatches will be provided for you to choose from. You'll return for a second appointment to select the look that speaks to you the most, discuss the investment details, and make any adjustments before we begin constructing your one-of-a-kind piece.
Perfecting Fitting
Using your chosen design, our artist will create muslins based on your measurements. At your fitting appointments, we'll see how it fits on you, not a mannequin. Everyone has a unique body, and our artist has an acute eye, ensuring this garment will flatter you.
Construction
We'll take your muslins and start construction on your chosen fabric. During this part of the process, additional fittings will be required as your garment comes to life and fits your silhouette in a beautiful way.
Refined Artistry
Our artist pays attention to the smallest detail down to a fraction of a millimeter, where each garment can take anywhere from 40 to 200 hours of precise work. Anything that leaves this studio is guaranteed to be flawless.
Bespoke Finalization
Once the artist finishes the garment, you will only take it home once you've tried it on and experienced feeling more beautiful than you ever have before. Adjustments will be made until we are more than satisfied with the look.
The Value of Craftsmanship
The prices listed below are starting rates and will increase depending on the complexity of your garment requiring additional time, masterful precision, and the expertise of our artist.
Please note, for rush orders requiring a shorter turnaround, an additional 40% of the total price will be applied to expedite production.
